Phylax wins UnLtd Award for social entrepreneurship
We believe Phylax has the potential to have a huge impact on the ability of people living with dementia or mild cognitive impairment to stay online, stay connected and maintain their quality of life. We're delighted to announce that this potential has been recognised by the receipt of an UnLtd Award. The Award provides grant funding for us to develop our product and access to UnLtd's network of business contacts and advisors.
UnLtd supports ventures which they believe have the most potential to create positive social change across a wide spectrum of society. They have awarded grants to some companies doing amazing work for people with dementia, including Dancing for Health, Timeless Presents, Music Memory Box and fellow Alzheimer's Society Awardee Sibstar. We are honoured to be joining them.
Phylax's receipt of an UnLtd award is another sign that awareness of the problems faced by people living with dementia who wish to remain online is growing. As the number of people in the UK living with dementia approaches 1 million, the demand for safer, yet respectfully independent, online shopping is only set to expand.
